We have several special services and events:

Advent Morning Services - 10:30am on Sundays

We light our Advent candles in the Sunday morning services leading up to Christmas (30th Nov, 7th Dec, 15th Dec and 22nd Dec 2025). The services are family friendly and there are age-specific children's activity groups (see here for more information).

Messy Christmas - 2pm to 4pm on Sunday 30th November 2025

This includes crafts for all ages followed by a story and light refreshments. 

Memorial Christmas Tree Fayre - 11:30am to 1:30pm on Saturday 6th December 2025

Members of the local community have organised a Christmas tree that anyone can hang a decoration on to remember a loved one. We have offered our front gargen as a good place for this tree to be placed. There will be carols, a raffle run by Bents Green WI, a talk about St Luke's Hospice, a few stalls and refreshments. All money raised will go to St Luke's Hospice. 

Sunbeams Toddler Group Nativity - 10am on Wednesday 10th December 2025

This will be part of the usual Wednesday service. 

Sunrise Preschool Playgroup Nativity - 10:30am on Friday 12th December 2025

A nativity for Sunrise families, church congregation and friends.

Contemporary Carol Service - 6.30pm on Sunday 14th December 2025

A relaxed service including mostly modern carols.

Outcry Service - 7:30pm on Tuesday 16th December 2025

This includes a mix of contemporary and well known carols led by the worship band Outcry. 

WORK Ltd Nativity Service - 10:30am on Wednesday 17th December 2025

An accessible nativity service with our friends from WORK Ltd.

Traditional Carol Service - 6:30pm on Sunday 21st December 2025

Each year we have a traditional carol service with carols to join in with, Bible readings about the Christmas story and songs from our children’s Christmas choir (see here for more info on the choir).

Christingle Service - 5:30pm on Wednesday 24th December 2025

Our Christingle Service on Christmas Eve is very popular with children and families. Each child is given a Christingle (we use glow sticks rather than candles for safety reasons!). We sing songs all together and have songs from our children’s Christmas choir (see here for more info on this). 

Christmas Day Service - 10:30am

This is a relaxed, short, happy service of celebration. Everyone, especially the children, is invited to bring along one of their Christmas presents to show everyone.
