We have several special services and events:

Girls Brigade Christmas Coffee Morning - 2024 date TBC

This includes refreshments and stalls fundraising for Christian Aid. 

Advent Morning Services - 10:30am on Sundays

We light our Advent candles in the Sunday morning services leading up to Christmas (1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd December 2024). The services are family friendly and there are age-specific children's activity groups (see here for more information).

Messy Christmas - 2pm to 4pm on Sunday 1st December 2024

This includes crafts for all ages followed by a story and light refreshments. 

WORK Ltd Nativity Service - 2024 date TBC

An accessible nativity service with our friends from WORK Ltd.

Sunrise Preschool Playgroup Nativity - 2024 date TBC

We will be joined by our friends from Dementia Cafe.

Contemporary Carol Service - 6.30pm on a Sunday in December (2024 date TBC)

A relaxed service including mostly modern carols. 

Sunbeams Toddler Group Nativity - 2024 date TBC

This will be part of the usual Wednesday service. 

Traditional Carol Service - 6:30pm on a Sunday in December (2024 date TBC)

Each year we have a traditional carol service with carols to join in with, Bible readings about the Christmas story and songs from our children’s Christmas choir (see here for more info on the choir).

Outcry Service - 2024 date TBC

This includes a mix of contemporary and well known carols led by the worship band Outcry. 

Christingle Service - 5:30pm on Tuesday 24th December 2024

Our Christingle Service on Christmas Eve is very popular with children and families. Each child is given a Christingle (we use glow sticks rather than candles for safety reasons!). We sing songs all together and have songs from our children’s Christmas choir (see here for more info on this). 

Christmas Day Service - 10:30am

This is a relaxed, short, happy service of celebration. Everyone, especially the children, is invited to bring along one of their Christmas presents to show everyone.
